It’s pretty simple but the idea is that it gives people a platform to express themselves in a public landscape dominated by commercial messages.



Hey Josh. Cool idea. I like how you’ve integrated the signs into the photos. However, it would probably take away the “impromptu” feel of busking that I always get when I see someone doing it.
yeah i hadn’t looked at the flip side of that yet - just talking to performers they feel a little more structure would give validity to what they do. A lot of people looking to perform on the street simply don’t because they are unsure of their rights. Where can they do it? Will the council take my money off me if i’m breaking a by-law? In essence it’s about creating real places and sites for musical expression - the tone and scale (huge yellow posters!) is completely wrong at the moment but there’s an idea in there. It would need to feel more organic and underground and low-fi.
To be incredible is to be misunderstood.
